Troubleshooting: LED Indicator Turns On/Off Unexpectedly Under Certain Scenarios
This issue has been fixed in firmware 1.16+
Summary
When certain parameters are set to specific values, the LED indicator will turn on for a few seconds and then turn off.
Overview
This happens when the LED Intensity (When Off) setting is set to 0%. This is parameter #7. It will cause the LED Indicator to turn on when the switch is turned on, but the LED indicator will turn off after 3 seconds.
Workaround / Fix
The workaround is to set Parameter #9 (1 byte) to a value of 0. This will stop this behavior. In SmartThings and Hubitat the parameter is automatically set for the user. As long as you are using the Inovelli device handler / driver, you should not be affected by this issue.
