How To: Transition Hubs by Excluding and Including | SmartThings

How To: Transition Hubs by Excluding and Including | SmartThings

Summary (TLDR)

When you're changing hubs (ie: Wink to SmartThings) you'll need to make sure your products are successfully reset (or excluded) from the previous hub. If you're having issues pairing your device to SmartThings, you may need to exclude (reset) the devices before including (pairing) them. The good news is you do not need to do this with the prior hub and you can do this all from SmartThings.

Below we'll give you directions to exclude/reset and include/pair all Inovelli devices so that they'll work with SmartThings. NOTE: We will be using the most up-to-date app (not the Classic one) as this is what ST recommends.
