How To: Include / Pair, Exclude / Remove & Factory Reset 4-1 Sensor

Including / Pairing Your 4-1 Sensor
Please follow the directions to include or pair your Inovelli sensor. Again, for more detailed hub/gateway instructions, please see the links in the bottom section. To better help with understanding the instructions, please use the picture below.
- Start the inclusion process on your hub
- Press the sensor button on the back (Button B) 1x and the LED on the front (A) will blink rapidly
- The front LED (A) will stop blinking if inclusion was successful
If unsuccessful, the LED (A) will just time out (stop blinking) and you may need to try an exclusion or factory reset as per the directions below.
Excluding / Removing Your 4-1 Sensor
Please follow the directions to exclude or remove your Inovelli sensor. Again, for more detailed hub/gateway instructions, please see the links in the bottom section.
- Start the exclusion process on your hub
- Press the sensor button on the back (Button B) 1x and the LED on the front (A) will blink rapidly
- The front LED (A) will stop blinking if exclusion was successful
NOTE: If you're looking to switch from one hub to another, please use an Exclusion and not a Factory Reset. You can do the exclusion with either hub (old or new one). Factory Reset should only be used if the exclusion doesn't work or there's no hub/gateway present.
Factory Resetting Your 4-1 Sensor
Please follow the directions to factory reset your Inovelli sensor. Please only follow this procedure if the Exclusion method does not work.
- Hold the sensor button on the back (B) for 5 seconds and the front LED (A) will start blinking
- The front LED (A) will stop blinking if exclusion was successful
