Device Driver Installation | LZW45 | Lightstrip & Controller Kit

This article will walk you through how to install the device driver for optimal usage and advanced functionality on your Inovelli LED Strip & Controller Kit (LZW45). We promise it's not hard and should take you 5-10 minutes tops.

Prerequisites

  1. Hubitat Web Interface Open: portal.hubitat.com (once logged in, click on, "Drivers Code")                
  2. Device Handler Code Tab Open: LZW45 Raw Code

Installing the Device Driver                 

We recommend installing the device driver prior to installing your controller for ease of installation. 

Installing the Code for the Lightstrip Controller

  1. Inside the Hubitat web interface, select the “<> Drivers Code” Button on the left side bar
  2. Then click, “New Driver” (top right)
  3. Now switch tabs and go to the driver link: LZW45 Device Driver Raw Code
  4. Select all code and copy it
  5. Go back to the Hubitat web interface and paste the code into the white box
  6. Click, “Save” – wait for the red, “Modified” word to disappear (this indicates the code was saved properly)
